My name is Chelsea Soong. I was born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii. I am a senior at Kaiser High School and will be graduating in May 2016. I have twin sisters (19) named Alissa and Ashley. The twins are 3 years older than me and both attend Kapiolani Community College here on Oahu. Growing up I started playing baseball when I was 5 years old all the way until I was 12 and then I switched over to softball. When I played baseball I was pretty much the only girl on my team throughout my years playing Shetland, Mustang and Bronco. I really learned how to be humble. The boys actually taught me a lot and I remain close to many of my former teammates. I played other sports as well such as soccer and basketball. I feel that playing sports has made me a very well rounded person. I am an excellent team player and always do my best whether it is at practice or during a game. I am very open minded and always open for constructive criticism to improve my skills as a player. My parents are my biggest supporters and are always there for me. They are at every game and have even travelled to the mainland to watch me play. Family is very important to me. I think I would be an asset to any team who would give me an opportunity to play. I am not sure what I want to major in at this time, but am actively researching my options.
