Megan Sharpe '21 Recruiting Profile

I have played this sport since the age of 5. It is my passion. I see the impact college softball players have on younger softball players and think, that's what I want to do. I want to inspire younger girls to love and cherish the game like I do. I have learned through the years that it is a team sport, you need all 9 players on the field to work together to get your goal. I carry that with me off the softball field as well. I have met many of my closest friends through softball, and for that, I am forever thankful. 

Goals, Inspire, Achieve, Persevere, Team work, Dedication and Hard work are words that are instilled in us from our coaches.  And I try my best to live by these words wether on the field or in the classroom.  From encouraging my teammates, or classmates to be better.  I work equally as hard off the field on my academics to be the best that I can be.  I enjoy learning new things, whether it's about softball, or about something in the classroom. I absorb all the information as well as I can and I use it to help achieve my goals.
