Mary Ellen (Mimi) Gooden '23 Recruiting Profile

I have a passion for Softball. I started out at the age of three in t-ball and now have worked my way up through fast pitch softball. My goals and aspirations are to be involved any way I can in softball, as a player in college and as a possible future coach. I also am very interested in nutrition and fitness.

I constantly am trying to better my skills for my teams and myself. I have parents that help in every way possible and are very supportive. I believe my goal orientated personality allows me to achieve above and beyond in all aspects.

I achieve high scores in academics. I am a proud to be a young Christian women, which allows me to be respectful and uphold a high standard of character.  In softball, I am known as the "Golden Glove" and "Mighty Mimi." I have fast and accurate reflexes and agility. I am willing to push myself for the better of the team and have great team spirit.
