Aliyah Rothstein '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi College Coaches my name is Aliyah Rothstein and I would LOVE to play college softball. It has been my dream to play college since I was a little girl. I am always working hard no matter what I do and I always try and stay positive. Weather I am doing school work or playing softball I give 110%. I always try to stay positive about myself and the way I play because I know if I do it will help keep me going and help me become a better person, friend, teammate and player. I have been working extremely hard to improve my softball skills and become stronger. I have indoor softball practice during the winter and I do basketball to stay in shape for the offseason. I am also going to my schools after school Weight Lifting club to help improve my strength and stay in shape. I try to be the best that I can be at everything I do and if someone doubts me or is better than me it pushes me to work harder. I workout on my own time and I take time out of my day to practice drills and become a better player. I would like to get recruited for my speed and slapping. I used to hit from the right side and I tried being a power hitter but I am small and fast and I realized that power hitting wasn't for me so I switched to slapping. I not only slap but I can swing away from the left side when needed. I know how to read the defense while hitting which helps me know where to place the ball and I am a very aggressive but smart base runner. I am an outfielder because of my speed but I can also play 2nd or shortstop. My main position is center field and my secondary position is 2nd base.
