When I turned eleven, I quickly switched from baseball to softball. I instantly fell in love with the game, the field, and my team. Since the moment I stepped onto the softball field, I knew I wanted to play this sport in college. There is so much to love about the game. I want to play softball in college because I want to prove to myself that I can achieve what ever I put my mind to. I want to play for a team that is known for their hard work. In college, everybody plays as a family. They pick each other up and they cheer each other on. That's what I want, not just a team, but a family.
I am not a quitter. I won't quit if I don't get something right the first time. I'm the type of person that will work night and day until I'm the best I can be. I am hardworking and a team player. I don't only play for me, I play for the people all around me. I will drop all of my sweat and tears for my teammates. I am always ready for a challenge. I face challenges every single day at school and on the field. I will push myself to the limit and I will never give up. If I fall, I will pick myself up and make sure it never happens again. I hustle on and off the field and I'm always ready for anything. If you need me to run for the pitcher, I'll be ready to go.
