Why do I play softball?  I love the exciting feeling I get when I see the ball heading in my direction. I imagine myself making the play, and getting the runner out at the bag. Knowing that you had this ball hit to you a thousand times, trying to perfect it, all the practice you put into this one play you are about to make, and then you get the out!   It's the best feeling in the world! Another favorite  reason why I play softball is "team". I absolutely love getting to know all the girls on my team. We become like family and support each other like family. We pick each other up and we cheer at the top of our lungs, rooting for each other during every play and knowing our ups and downs. It's amazing!

Finally, I am humbled by the supportive and wonderful coaches I have had . They are an example to me of how each day we can have fun, learn and give back. Most of the coaches that I've played for continue to be a great part of my life and softball career. They have shaped who I am and have made me the player I am today. I am committed to giving my all to every play and every pitch and when the time comes, I look forward to working with future softball  players and sharing what my coaches have shared with me.
