Alaysia Clincy '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to enroll in a University where I can earn a degree while playing the sport that I love.  I've been playing softball since I was 5 years old.  With a lot of hard work and determination, I began playing competitively and developed a passion for the game.  I work very hard both on and off the field.  I strive to be the best I can be on the softball field and in the classroom.  My inspiration comes from my parents, who have guided me throughout my softball and academic career.  They, along with my coaches, have taught me the importance of hard work and never giving up. 

I am a speedy outfielder, primarily playing center field.  I currently play for the San Jose Lady Sharks 14U-Afanador team.  My team and I participated in the Platinum PGF Nationals in the summer of 2017.  We competed and earned 13th place.
