Brittney Scardina '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brittney Taylor Scardina and I am a two sport athlete.  My favorite sport is softball, but I also enjoy playing volleyball.  I finished my sophomore year 7th in my class academically. My goal is to continue to be very strong in academics while pursuing my love for softball.  My goal is that I will have many options when I begin applying to colleges.  I want as many doors to be open for me as possible.  I have a strong work ethic on the field and off the field.  My goal is to play for a D1 school as a pitcher.  However, my ultimate goal is to play softball in college at a top academic school.  I pitch three or four times a week with my pitching coach or teammate.  I also work on my spins while studying for tests or reading for a class.  In my free time, I enjoy camping with family and friends, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.  I realize that my goals are a challenge, but that inspires me to work hard and achieve those challenges.  Life isn't easy and I am willing to work hard at achieving my academic and athletic goals.
