Shireen Yehya '13 Recruiting Profile

I am an extremely driven and hardworking young lady.  I am focused and athletic, and I enjoy being on the pitching mound.  I understand that pitching is not just about being physically strong, but also being psychologically tough.  I have an ability to stay calm and maintain my composure like few others, even under the most pressing circumstances.  Also, I have been told by several coaches that they have never seen anyone field their position as well as I can.  Another of my strengths is my ability to move the ball around the plate.  My pitches include: fastball, change-up, screw, curve, rise, drop, and drop-curve.  I feel I am a well-rounded softball player because not only can I pitch and field, but I also have a strong bat.  Furthermore, I will work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field.  I believe that attaining an education is of the up most importance so I am hoping to find a school that offers a high quality education.  I will offer a school and its softball program my full dedication and effort.
