My name is Sarah Moore. I am 16 years old and I am in my junior year at Petaluma High School, in Petaluma, CA. My current GPA is 3.33, and I am working hard every day to improve.
I have been active in sports since the age of 6. I played soccer and basketball until the 8th grade. In the 8th grade I realized that softball was my passion and decided to concentrate on it year round. I have played travel softball for the last 7 years and currently play for the Lady Hawks 18U out of Concord, CA. I am a right handed pitcher and also play 1st and 3rd. Pitching is what I love to do. I have been working as a pitcher for the last 7 years. I am fortunate that I have been able to work with one of the best pitching instructors in Northern California for the last 4 years. I pride myself in being prepared to perform when I step onto the field and being a team player.
I have a big goal, that is to get a quality college education while playing the game I love. Everything that I have done for the last 3 years in the classroom, and on the field has been for the purpose of fulfilling my goal. Currently I am interested in pursuing a career in Pediatric Nursing or Elementary Education, it would be my dream to be able to go to a school that offers these career paths.
