Sabrina Gamboa '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello Prospective Coaches, My name is Sabrina Gamboa I am currently a Junior at Ontario High School and have been on Varisty Softball team since my Freshman Year. During my Freshman year as a team we accomplished winning league and I got recoginzed for first team all league. Going into my Sophmore Year I made Varsity again and we where able to hold on to are title and become back to back League Champs, and that year I was recognized as MVP of the Mt. Baldy League. Now as comming into my Junior year I believe my team is more than capable of defending our title and getting another championship. I have been playing Softball since I was 7 and its is a sport I play with a passion my positions are short stop, and 3rd base. I started travel when I was 12 years old and play for Team Smash within the first two years I became team captain and with my team we accomplished a lot. We where able to accomplish 2-State Championships, 5th Place 2008 USSSA World Series in Flordia, and we began to make a name for ourselves. Within this last year I decieded to move teams and play for OC Dynasty out of Fullerton CA. I really enjoy playing with them and I also enjoy the exposuer that I am getting. Now as a prospect trying to get recurited for college I am open for any offer I do not have my mind set on any particular school. I would not mind if the school is near home or far from home.While in college I am hoping to major in either Optometry or Kinesiology. Hoping to be given the opportunity to play on a college team I will be determined to work hard,stay focus, give 100% effort in what I do,when times get hard I am determined to work hard and get past them, and always ask for help when I am struggling.
