Personal Statement

I started playing softball when I was seven years old, and have been playing competitively since I was nine.  Over the last seven years, I have been called on by my team to play all positions in the infield.  I pride myself on my flexibility to achieve success wherever I am asked to perform on the field.  My strongest defensive positions are 1B and 3B.   In the Fall of 2016, I joined a group of talented athletes on the 18U Gold Batbusters team and look forward to continuing my success with them this Summer.  My goal as a student athlete is to maintain my high academic standards and to continue to strengthen both the mental and physical aspects of my game.  My high school, Carondelet, is a private school which strives to academically push their students to their full potential.   In my sophomore year, I completed both honors chemistry and honors algebra two with trigonometry.  In my junior year, I am scheduled to take Honors Spanish 3, Honors Biology, AP Language, and AP Calculus.  Together with hard work and determination, I want to play college softball at the highest level possible and receive an education that can provide me with the best opportunities to build a successful career.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
