Hello, My name is Jordyn Turner I am a Junior at Cloverdale High school in Cloverdale California. I was a starter on the Varsity softball team as a shortstop, however my position of choice is catcher, our team had a senior catcher so I had to wait my turn, this year will be my chance to show off my skills behind the dish. I earned first team all league honors along with all empire honors. I batted third in the lineup with a batting average of .546, and 39 RBI's and an on base percentage of .748, I can hit for power, leading the league as a freshman with 5 home runs for the season as well as put a bunt down when asked. My sophomore year I had a batting average of .484 and 30 RBI's with an on base percentage of .689.
My goal is to play at a college level and I have worked hard to get my skills to that level. I bring to the table hard work and discipline to everything I do whether on the field or in the classroom. Some people call me obsessive when it comes to softball, I would spend every waking moment on a softball diamond or at the batting cages if I could. I strive to be the best I can be and put in the extra work needed to achieve this goal and help my team win championships.
My educational goals would be in physical education or athletic trainer I would like to eventually be a college softball coach.
