Hello Coaches,
I would like to start off by thanking you for taking the time to look at my profile, for that alone I'm grateful.
My parents have always stressed the importance of good grades & excelling in athletics to one day receive a scholarship and earn a degree. I see how hard my parents work to provide for myself and my 3 brothers and this pushes me to work harder to achieve more.
It is my dream to attend College with my #1 goal to receive my degree in Sports Medicine. My goal to achieving this is by working hard in class and on the field. I will strive to be Freshman player of the year, help my team to win National titles while making a lasting impact on all who I come in contact with. I believe I would be a good candidate for your team because I'm very dedicated and motivated to work hard, I am coachable and I am a leader on and off the field. I have worked extremely hard to maintain my catching position but I will play where I'm needed as I am also a utility player.
What makes me different from other recruits? My determination from the love, passion and respect I have for the game. I understand the importance of academics and I work hard to be a great student athlete. Between softball practice with my team, extra practice & conditioning with my Dad, I make time to get my school work done as well. There are times when I get home late from practice and I'm up very late doing homework and that's okay. I do this to maintain my straight A's and 4.0 average. I feel this is preparing me for college and I proudly accept it.
I am humble and grateful to God for the opportunities that have been placed and will be placed before me and I cannot wait to continue achieving and exceeding my goals.
