Personal Statement

I started playing softball when I was eight years old. When I started playing the position of catcher is when I fell in love with the game and knew that my ultimate goal was to play softball in college. My dad being in the military and being injured in the line of duty has really influenced who I am today. It has taught me to never give up on my goals in life. Throughout my softball career I have learned what my strengths and weaknesses are as a person, and as an athlete. I have also learned how to overcome some of my weaknesses.

My goals for high school are to graduate in the top ten percent of my class and to meet the entry requirements for all collegiate levels. My goals for college are to get my Bachelors Degree in Biology and then possibly transfer to get my Masters and PhD in Orthodontics.

The one thing that is an obstacle for me to get to where I want to be is my small stature. However, my bold personality has brought me a long way. I believe that this characteristic would make me an asset to any collegiate level softball team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
