Volleyball,
A sport where one must trust another to play a game.
I often see players get so worked up while playing volleyball that they forget to smile. They only play to win.
I see players that become disappointed in themselves whenever they make a mistake, but how can one learn without mistakes?
Now that this has been said, mind you, there’s a fine line between not trying versus playing to win, and making no effort to improve when you make a mistake versus beating yourself up when you make a mistake.
As for myself, I believe that volleyball should be played with the goal of having fun while trying your best. When one makes a mistake in volleyball, I believe that they should make a positive self reflection in order to learn as much as possible as quickly as possible.
