I'm the youngest of four kids in a family of volleyball players from the East Coast and grew up playing since I was 5 years old. I am very athletic and adept, coordinated and ambitious. I bring these abilities to every team I am part of and I love a new challenge. After my dad died when I was 14 years old, my family and I had volleyball to come back to and used the sport to heal. It helped keep me focused and moving in life. The sport will always be part of my life and something my dad loved. I strive to do my best, as a student and athlete, and hold myself to high personal standards. I hope to find success in college and beyond, in a career and in volleyball. I want to use what I've experienced in life to help others, especially kids, learn, grow, and find meaning in life.
In 2013, my family and I moved to Southern California for my sophomore year in High School to see how I could compete in the sport. I immediately made the high school beach team, having only mostly played outdoor grass doubles. I was voted MVP for the JV team. I was also privileged to make the Varsity school team as a sophomore and went onto a winning school season in SoCal. Having picked up my whole life and moved to Cali for two years has enriched my life and made me a stronger, more resilient person and player. I am recognized as a strong, confident leader with each team I have been privileged to be a part of.
My winning attitude, competitive nature, and a great work ethic can only enhance your program. All my experiences in life, changes, and challenges have served to make me a potentially outstanding athlete in volleyball and academically strong person. Thank you.
