Being named captain of my varsity team as a junior is an accomplishment that I feel very proud of. But being a role model for the freshman and sophomores is something I strive for every day on my team. Growing up, I played soccer, baseball, football, tennis and basketball; all of which prepared me for the rigors of the sport that I came to love best: volleyball. I began playing volleyball as a freshman soon after I realized that volleyball plays to my strength: teamwork on the same side of the net. Playing this sport has helped me to realize that not only am a solid, left-handed opposite who can compete at a college level, but I am versatile as well; I have also competed as a setter and an outside hitter.
I’m searching for a college that fits me academically and one that can fully utilize my talents on the court. I believe that I am a player who has strong principles, a solid work ethic, and leadership skills to enhance any program. As a player who was recently named on the All Tournament Team in Redondo Beach, California, I bring all of my assets to your team.
