Personal Statement
I started playing volleyball in sixth grade, and I immediately fell in love with the sport. I have previously played basketball and soccer, but nothing compares to volleyball. For me, I love volleyball most of all because it is a fast paced game with a huge emphasis on team work. I am especially good at knowing my teammates strengths and weaknesses and knowing who needs help in different situations.
I played all three years in middle school at Mission Hill Middle School were I was team captain and I won MVP in eighth grade. I am now a freshman at Santa Cruz High School, and I am looking forward to my first year of High school volleyball in the spring. Currently I am playing for Main Beach Volleyball Club.
