Andrew Peters '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Peters, I am seventeen years old currently a junior at Foothill High school in Santa Ana,
California. I will be graduating June of 2013. I am a 5’11” setter with a standing reach of 7'6" and a vertical of____. I am currently playing at Ohana Athletics in Costa Mesa California during club season and beach camp. In the spring of 2012 I will be playing my second year of varsity. I have played three seasons of club volleyball I began playing for my middle school team in 5^thgrade.

                I have many skills to offer a team.  As team captain of my frosh soph team I displayed leadership skills by leading the team to become league champions.  Although I enjoy a leadership role I will do what is best for the team.   I have proven through my actions that I am a team builder.  I am a strong contributor with a never-give-up attitude.  I work hard and as long as it takes to get develop and keep solid skills. On and off the court I try to get along with everyone, and have formed many strong lasting friendships.

I am looking for a large to medium sized, four year college or university that has a strong engineering program; I am open to location in or out of state.  I am hoping to find a strong volleyball program.

                My goals for my college volleyball career are to play all four years at highest competition level possible.  My hope is to contribute to my team by playing as setter.  Another dream of mine is to play volleyball after college and or become a coach.
