Since I was very young I have wanted to play college sports. At first I thought it would be basketball, but when I began playing competitive volleyball my freshman year I knew that it was the sport for me. My family has always stressed the importance of education, and so my goals are also centered around this. I love the sport of volleyball and want to play it at the collegiate level, but I have been taught to recognize and value what is most important about college, and that is going to a school that fits my needs academically. I am interested in finding a school that enables me to meet both my educational and athletic goals.
I am smart on and off the court. In the classroom I have filled my high school years with honors and AP classes while maintaining a 3.5 GPA. In addition to working hard in the classroom, I have done well in both basketball and volleyball. I have been a starting point guard and setter throughout high school. I started playing club volleyball during my sophomore year as well. On all three of these teams, I have been voted team captain by my teammates and coaches because of the strong leadership skills I have demonstrated.
Some important highlights of my high school athletic career are:
NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the exclusive athletic recruiting network that educates, assists, and connects, families, coaches and companies so they can save time and money, get ahead and give back.
NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
