Jack Cole '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jack Cole, and my favorite thing to do is play volleyball.  I am a 6' 6" Senior. I go to a school that has very high academic standards, so I have to put in a lot of time studying. When I'm not studying, however, I enjoy my club or high school practices, open gyms, lessons, playing in beach tournament, and just practicing in my backyard. Recently, I have been training with Jon Root, Olympic gold medalist.  I have also been training with a conditioning coach to push my endurance to a high level.  With 8 years of taekwondo training and earning my black belt, I have been working on my strength and endurance for years. I believe that part of my explosive hitting is due to the fast twitch training in taekwondo. It is my athletic aspiration to play volleyball in college, and in Europe after that.  I am not sure what my college major will be, but I am interested in the fields of genetics, international business, photography, web design, and linguistics.

High School Volleyball

I have been a starter on the Varsity Volleyball Team since I was a Freshman.  This year I was co-captian of my team. I played MH my freshman and sophomore year, and OH this year.

Personal Awards - All-School Male Athlete of the Year, BCL-East Most Outstanding Player - Outside Hitter, BLC-East Tournament MVP, Bentley Team MVP
