Caleb Johnson '18 Recruiting Profile

1. I am a 6’3, 220 pound discus, shot, and long jumper from Shadle Park, WA. As a Junior, I placed 6^th in Washington State.  I expect to be state champion in discus next season.  I believe that with the help of the coaching staff here at Shadle Park, I will throw 176 in discus, 57 in shot put as I have switched from the glide to spinning where in the glide I was throwing consistently at 45 now I'm consistently throwing 50+, and i expext to jump 22.6 in long jump. I have a GPA of 2.5 and an SAT score of 1100.

Ideally, I am interested in larger schools offering a degree in engineering. I am looking more towards schools in Washington, Oregon, and California.  I am focused more on State schools vice private schools because my father is a disabled veteran, and tuition costs at state schools should be covered. I have a lot of fun with track, learning all the technicalities of throwing and jumping, and am looking forward to the opportunity of competing at the next level.
