Bryce McAlpine '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bryce McAlpine and I am 17 years old. I am 6' 2" and weigh 155 pounds. I am a Senior at Tuscarora High School in Virginia and run for the Boys' Varsity Track and Field team and also play Varsity Football.   I am looking for a school, in any division, that could possibly offer me a track scholarship and that also offers my Major; Political Science & Government and ROTC.  I have two passions/goals in life - running college Track and becoming an Officer in the US ARMY - HOOAH!

I believe I am a strong candidate for your team because I am a very dedicated student athlete, I believe that team work is the most important thing where sports such as Track and Field are involved, and I am dedicated to success. I believe that I am a hard worker on and off the track. My GPA isn't exactly where I want it to be but, I am working hard on bringing it up to meet my expectations to become a successful student. I am a firm believer in never giving up and giving your best is the key to success in life. All I ask of you is to give me a chance in your program and I promise you, that you will not be disappointed.
