I am a 6'0 150 lb. shooting guard from Leesburg, VA with a 4.0 GPA. Basketball has been a strong passion of mine ever since I can remember. I started to take the sport very seriously around the 6th grade playing competitive AAU and working hard. I have also always been very aware of my grades, achieving straight A's throughout all of my middle school years while taking 4 high school classes, and as a result going into high school with already 4 credits and a 4.0 GPA. At the start of my 8th grade season, I made the decision to tryout for the Tuscarora High School Freshman basketball team instead of playing for my middle school team. This turned out to be a great decision as I made the team and excelled my game by working hard in the weight room and playing against bigger and better competition. That season/ offseason brought out one of my strongest attributes which is working hard.
I am a knockdown 3 point shooter with excellent dribbling and attacking skills. I am hardworking not only on the basketball court, but especially in school. I am always the first player to arrive at practice and the last to leave and I treat every practice/training like its a game, giving it everything I have. One of my favorite things about the game of basketball is the strong relationships that I build with my coaches and teammates along the way. There is nothing that can compare to the friendships that I have built through basketball and I look forward to the many that are yet to come. I have always wanted to play basketball at the college level and the amount of work that I have already put in makes it impossible for me to quit now. I am valuable to a team because I love to not only push myself to new limits but push the people around me to get better. I am a knockdown shooter from mid range and especially beyond the 3 point line. I am aggressive on defense always getting in the passing lanes and applying pressure. My style of play best suits a team who plays fast paced team basketball. I would like to go to a medium sized school that has an exceptional academic program because school will always come before basketball for me. I work extremely hard in school achieving a 4.0 and receiving a cornerstone awardin middle school. Although I still have an open mind and have not quite decided what I want to major in, I do know that I would like to possibly major in business and financing and maybe go to law school.
My goals for basketball are to play competitively at the college level and get an amazing education in the process. As for after college, I have interest in keeping basketball in my life through coaching and training.
