I want to get to collage, and I want to participate in Cross country events. As of right now, I'm a freshman in high school and I got 3rd in the Texas UIL District Cross Country meet, 7th in the Texas Regionale Cross Country meet and could have qualified for state without my team. I went to state as Grady's leading runner and placed 48.
This is my first year of high school cross country and me and two other classmates made the varsity team. My grades this year, except for a 87 in Algebra, have been all A's. I plan to keep my grades this high throughout the rest of the year and high school.
I am committed to my goal of becoming a great runner and where I live, there is plenty of room to do it. I haven't really started some kind of running routine yet, but I'm planning to this summer. Track is still an uncertainty for me, but my decision will be made by the end of the year. I am really looking forward to my future years as a cross country runner.
