Paul Sherrill '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Paul Sherrill and I am an incoming sophomore at Summit Christian Academy in Cedar Park, Texas. I first started running competitive track in 5th Grade and I quickly fell in love with it. Since then, I have competed in both AAU track, in which I have competed in the AAU National Junior Olympics, and school track. As a freshmen, I was blessed to be able to win the TAPPS 2A 3200m State Title with a time of 10:10.75 and get third in the 1600m with a time of 4:44.86. Winning state as a freshmen was truly an amazing experience and I thank God for helping me accomplish that goal. However, I am striving to do even better as my high school career continues. I love to work hard on the track and in the classroom, because I love seeing myself get better and seeing all my hard work pay off. I would love to compete in track on the collegiate level, because it would give me an opportunity to further my career in track and in academics. I think I would be a good fit for anyone's team, because I believe in giving 100% in everything that I do whether it's my favorite thing or not. At the end of the day, it's all about doing the best you can and working hard.
