My immediate goals are simple. I would like to do well on the College Board Exams to enable schools to make a more informed choice about me while also giving me a more secure beginning for the application process. My Senior year is already dedicated to maturing as a student, person, and track athlete. I have always been a multi-sport athlete until last winter when I made the decision to concentrate on track. I have trained since that time, including over the summer, with the sprinting coach, Coach Van Horn, and some of my teammates. I intend to run my second season of indoor track, as well as the Spring season with my goal being to shave more time off my PRs. I would like to attend a college or university that is able to give me a balance of track and academics while helping me to grow in both areas. I would like to earn a degree in Psychology and go on to study Sports Psychology. I have first hand knowledge of the role that the mind and psychology plays in an athlete's performance and would like to help improve the mindset of young athletes. I also hope to coach at some point.
