I began my Track career in 7th grade. I heard about the sport and thought I would try it out. I wasn't the best runner, jumper or thrower but I thought that I might have a shot at throwing and doing well in that area. With my coaches help and my parents always encouraging me to keep working, I've stuck through the rough times and fell in love with the sport. I have goals of going to college, and competing at the highest levels in track. I've been apart of the two time region championship team for Corry area High School. I made it to districts last year in Discus and my goal is states this year.
The reason I'd be good for your team is simple. I work hard for my goals. I don't quit when it gets hard. I'm persistent on being better. I have a great work ethic, and leadership skills that I have acquired from boy scouts, and other sports. My best thing I could bring to your team is my personality. I love to laugh and encourage others. I know that I have what it takes to be a great student athlete for your team.
