Dustin Fickert '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello, and welcome to my NCSA Profile! My name is Dustin Fickert and I am here to get to know college coaches in mid distance track and field. I am currently a senior this year at Covington High School in Covington, Ohio. I almost an all 4 year lettering runner for both Cross Country and Track and Field.

I am a very determined runner that won't take no for an answer, and am willing to sacrifice to get better, for sake of myself and especially the team. I value the love in a team, and actually would not be where I am today without a well supporting team and coach. Not only do I please my team with joy and encouragement, but I am there to help score points that has led us to a dominating season last year.

My specialty in Track and Field is my pride and joy, the 800m run (Should be renamed sprint) and is the best race in track. My 800m was almost always a gaurenteed 8 or 10 points, and I helped out 4x4 team bring down the school record not once, but twice, kicking out our old record from earlier in the year. All my events, the 800m, 4x4, and 4x8 (held the fastest leg all year with consistant 1:58s and 1:59's) had made it to state this season and plan on doing it all again this year.
