Goals and aspirations:
I want to be able to progress to the next level both academically and athletically. I like to help people and that is the reason why I am interested in the medical field. My goals for this upcoming year are competing at the elite level in both the indoor and outdoor New Balance Nationals. In order to achieve this goal, I have increased both strength training and technique work for the upcoming indoor season. With this change, I feel the goals that I have made are very attainable.
Good Candidate for your team:
I strive to be the best that I can be in everything that I do, which means that I will give my all in my academics and with my position on your team along with supporting my teammates. I will be a good example inside and outside the classroom along with on and off the campus.
What makes me different:
For the last 3 years I have worked a part-time job, competed in athletics and taken college classes the last 2 years. I have been able to manage all of these and still have time for my friends and family. I have prioritized my goals to advance athletically, academically and the responsibility of being employed during this time. I know that whether pushing myself a little harder during practice or spending an extra hour studying - these things will make me a better person. Teamwork is a critical element of success - whether it is in learning, being part of a team or part of a family - teamwork is important in many aspects of life. Providing support and making new friendships is invaluable source to reaching our goals.
