Tristen Dervish '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tristen Dervish, I am a student athlete attending Suffern High School, where I have been on the Suffern Varsity team since I was in 8th grade.   I attended the New Balance Indoor Nationals when I was a freshman in high school and have further attended all Indoor Nationals up until 11th grade. This summer I have entered in the USATF Junior Olympics as an Unattached athlete to ensure that I continue to challenge myself and look for opportunities to advance my skills. I entered the 100M and the 400M and took one of the top 8 times in the 100M which allowed me to advance to the Regional Finals. My goal is to compete in the USATF Nationals in North Carolina. In college I want to major in Sports Medicine and pursue a job of an Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist. I'm looking for a college that will not only meet my career goals but also allow me the opportunity to continue my passion for track.  I continue to increase my quickness as well as upper and lower body strengths, by doing a continuous workout with both a personal trainer as well a becoming a member of sports performance center.
