My name is Shota Nakamura and I am a 6’0” Junior from Scarsdale, NY. I am attending Edgemont High School and I have ran track and cross country since the beginning of my freshman year. My personal records are 4:28.6 (1600m), 2:37(1000m), and 16:50(XC 5k). I have been all league in Cross Country as a sophomore and junior and Westchester All-County as a junior. I have also been awarded Team MVP for those two years in Cross Country.
I am looking for an institution that has a competitive academic institution as well as a competitive athletic environment. I am open to sugggestions for small schools and large schools and the location of the school. I aspire to work hard for the rest of my high school career in both academics and athletics and keep breaking goals I set for myself.
