I am a middle distance runner from Pine Bush, NY. My main events are the 800m and the 1000m. During my junior year, I consistently improved throughout each season. My team relied on me as the lead off leg for the 4x800m relay with consistent starts. I run at Pine Bush High School and I will be a senior in the fall of 2013. I have been running track since seventh grade and it has been my goal to run at the collegiate level. For my senior year, I am going to be the captain of the cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams. At practice, I always lead by example by working hard and staying focused. I have a 3.7 GPA and I plan on taking primarily AP and College courses during the upcoming school year.
Both academics and athletics are important to me. I want to find a school with a solid reputation in engineering where I could do research and intern as to maximize my education. The ideal school will not only have a good engineering program but also a commitment to track and field where I can compete and do what I love to do on the track.
