Personal Statement
I began running in seventh grade and although I struggled at first I eventually fell in love with the sport. It has always been my goal to run in college, regardless of division and I will do whatever it takes to accomplish this goal. I would like to run in college because I love being part of a team and I also want to push myself to become the best athlete I can possibly be. As well as my athletics I also take my academics very seriously. I have taken many advanced classes and I work very hard to keep my grades up. I hope that you will consider me for a spot on your team.
