Nicholas Avossa '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nick Avossa and I am a Senior at Kingston High School in Kingston New York. I am 6'1" tall and about 160 lbs. I am extremely passionate about hurdling. I began hurdling and doing track in the spring of 8th grade and have been growing and progressing in the track field ever since. I run all year long, doing cross country in the fall, indoor in the winter, outdoor in the spring, and our school track club in the summer. I am not picky for locations, I would be happy to go anywhere as long as I can get to hurdle. I am a natural leader and have happily taught basic hurdling techniques to all willing newcomers to our track team. I do my best to make the other members of the team as passionate about hurdling, or running in general, as I am and will always help when I can. I dream of bettering my abilities in college and hope to do so, come my freshman year, a year from now.
