Personal Statement
My name is Christopher Repecki and I am a 2011 graduate from Harrison, N.Y. I have been competing at the varsity level of high school cross country and track since grade 8 and aspire to compete at the collegiate level. I've held all school distance records (3000m, 3200m, and 5k) since my sophomore year. I ran the 5000m at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships in 16:02 as a sophomore. As a result of my hard work, dedication, and love for the sport I received Rookie of the Year award, and both the Most Improved Athlete and Scholar Athlete awards as a freshman and a sophomore. I have maintained high honor roll (90% & above) every quarter while taking a rigorous AP curriculum. I aspire to attend a college that will allow me to continue to push myself athletically and academically. My major remains undecided at this point. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match.
