Philip Rascona '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0" long/mid-distance runner from Holtsville, New York. I have been a varsity runner on the Sachem East Cross Country team for 3 years and have earned titles of All-League, All-Division, and All-County. I know my hardwork and dedication to the sport has paid off because this upcoming season I was chosen to be the team captain of the Cross Country team. Being that I love the sport, I was extremely pleased with being nominated as the capatin. I am truly hoping that continuing to run Cross Country and Track will be part of my college experience. I am in interested in all DI and DII schools in the Northeast quadrant of the United States. I am very open to different types of schools (Christian, Public, Private etc.). I would love to make an immediate impact on the team my freshman year but I understand that because of the high level of competition that I may need to train hard and "wait my turn" before I am able to contribute to the team's success
