Kashym Albert '10 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'7" and approximately 150lbs. I have been on my high school track team since my freshman year and a varsity member since my junior year. It is my dream to run track in college and I am willing to do whatever is necessary to accomplish that. I would like to attend a college that is not too far away from New York; preferably in the eastern half of the country but I am willing to travel if necessary. I am looking for a school that would help me achieve both my academic and athletic goals. My desired major is Forensic Science. My athletic goal is to run track in college and I am willing to train hard, make sacrifices and give my all in order to accomplish that. I really love track because it is a very unique sport. While all other sports require either individual or team efforts, track is a mixture of both. At one track meet you could warm up alone and get focused for your race and thirty minutes later have to practice baton passes with your relay team.I intend to do my all to overcome the challenges that come with college track and in so doing, help myself and my team as much as I can.
