Mamadou Seck '15 Recruiting Profile

This is my first year competing in track. Im on pace to hit 47.2 in the 400m dash, by State of my senior year. My goal in life is to be successful and to have a family. My dream is to compete in college athletics, while pursuing a degree in international business  and hopefully the Olympics. Michael Johnson inspires me to excel in my work ethic.In my first time running the 800m i ran an outstanding time of 1.59. I'm not afraid to fail, I will only continue to get better. I finished 10th out of 168 in the 400 meter dash, I also finished 12th out of 85 in the 800, In the AAU Club Championships. I know i'm young in the sport, but i truly believe i will be succesfull wherever i end up. I look to be running 47s by freshman year , and scoring points in the conference.
Im a born leader, everywhere i go i end up leading the pack. I am captain of my high school team, and also captain of my club. I have ran track for four months, i hold three school records within one season under my belt. I feel im no where near my peak, and i've just scratched the surface of my potential.
 Ive also been awarded impact athlete honors to the 2015 Mississippi State Track and Field team. I will be competing for the US, representing MS in the DownUnder International Games in Australia, this summer.

I study and analyze my races and race technique and I bring this same dedication to my school work. I hope I can be a recruit you will consider.
