Josh Schaffer '12 Recruiting Profile

To whom it may concern: My name is Joshua Schaffer and I am a junior at Prior Lake High School, Prior Lake Minnesota. I have been a cross country runner since 8th grade and am a member of the boys varsity team. My goals are to graduate from high school with a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA, be accepted into a D2 or D3 college where I plan to obtain a BS in engineering and run cross country. I am interested in medium sized schools ideally in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Iowa or South Dakota. Depending on the academic and athletic programs available, I will consider state, private or christian schools. I am a dedicated and motivated student athlete who enjoys working hard to achieve great results. I am considered one of the top 4 on my team this year. My career PR is 17.46. My best time this year is 18.03 and my goal is to achieve 17.25. I am hopeful based on my academic and athletic achievements that you will give me consideration for acceptance into your college and cross country program.
