I am a Freshman at Lewiston-Altura High School. I was born with a disability called Spina Bifida which is the reason that my times may seem slower than normal. I am determined to get a college degree while being successful in Track and Field as well. I have a goal of reaching the world level of competition, whether that be at the world competition or the Paralympics. I compete in a racing wheelchair. I have won several junior national championships and also 6 state titles in my first 2 years of competing on my high school track & field team in Minnesota. I currently hold the all-time state records in the 100m and 200m. I also hold the state high school meet records in the 100m, 200m and 800m. Sprints are my specialty, but I also do fairly well in the distance races. I would really like the opportunity to go to a college that has has a wheelchair track & field program that I would be able to participate with.
