I aspire to run in college at any level. I'm a hard worker and strive to achieve my goals. My long term goal is to break the next barrier of 15 minutes. I believe that I can achieve that goal in my college years.
I have just accomplished my number 1 goal of breaking 16:00 in the 5K. I worked all season to break that barrier. It only took 14 meets to do it. I had 4 races this year that was under my Junior year's personal record and one race that was .1 seconds slower. I peaked at the correct time and ran 16:01.58 at Regionals placing 4th place. At the state meet I placed 43rd in 15:55.1.
