I feel that I have the talent and the heart to compete at a high level. As a freshman, I was made a huge impact on my school’s varsity cross country program. Also, I competed and was a varsity starter for my school’s soccer team. Doing two fall sports was tough, but I think that has given me a mental edge on other runners. During the fall sports season, I kept a 4.0 gpa.
I know I can make an impact on your team. I feel I have the competitive spirit that a Division 1 runner needs. I also have a positive attitude towards my teammates, so I think I can help my teammates become better athletes.
