Salvatore (Sam) Pitrone '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Salvatore Pitrone, and I am currently a junior at Huntley High School, in Huntley Il. I am proud to represent the class of 2017 as a student as well as an athlete. I chose to pursue track as my primary sport because I really enjoy running and I feel track is the sport I have the most potential in. I strive to be the best athlete I can so I take advantage of all additional training programs available both in school and out of school. For me, there is no such thing as an "off season".  I don't believe in short cuts, on the track or off. I give 100% whether I am at practice or in a meet situation.  Outside of sports, I try to be the best individual I can by working hard to keep my grades up, and being respectful to others around me. I believe that character matters both on the track and off. I strive to be the kind of athlete that brings honor to my school not only through performance, but sportsmanship as well. I really hope you find me to be a good fit for your team as I will always continue to grow with hard work and determination.
