Personal Statement
I have been a competitive distance runner since 7th grade and revel in the competition of big meets, particularly state and regional meets. I am a diligent student of my sport and religiously seek ways to improve my training regimen and frequently seek out coaches for advice and mentoring.
In college I plan to pursue biological and/or health sciences and plan to enroll in medical school upon graduation. I am most interested in attending a school that serves as the right social fit and that meets my rigorous academic and athletic objectives. Through academic and athletic experiences in college, I hope to grow personally and become better prepared for the next chapter of my life.
