I am currently a senior at Bartlett High School doing Cross Country and Track & Field. I run every day and absolutely love it. I joined Track my freshmen year because a good friend suggested that I should. From that point on, I was hooked on running and it was inevitable that I would join Cross Country. Our goal last year for Cross was to make it to State as a team and show everyone that we had what it takes. Although we fell 15 points short, we held our heads high and had an outstanding track season. This year, my team and are determined to make it to State. We have a better top 7 and are eager to prove our point. I wish to run in college because running is like second nature to me now and I wish to run competitively at the college level. I would also love it if I could become a coach some day. I have had a lot of inspiration from my coaches and they have been like role models to me. As you can tell, I am very passionate about running, so I would like to carry this onto future runners and athletes. I would like to study something related to Fitness in college. I've been looking into Exercise and Sports studies recently however.
