My goals are to pursue track and field at a high level, along with getting the right education for me. My parents went to New York University and Yale, but neither of them ran track and field at any level. I have been an honors and high honors student since middle school, and I am currently a year ahead of my grade level in math and science. This year my 4x400 team that ran at CT state opens broke the school record with a 3:31, which was one of my career goals which I already accomplished in my first year. Although I consider myself mainly a hurdler, the 400m has become a strong event for me this year as I have taken 9 seconds off of it since last season with harder training, to run a 54. I hope to continue to grow in each of these events by working harder and not playing Basketball to pursue Indoor Track.
