I want to compete in track and field in college because I don't want to give up that competitive spirit and still want to compete at that high competitive level. I am a good candidate for Track and Field teams in college because I am an All-Around Athlete in sprinting, as well as in field events. I believe that I stand out from other recruits in character because I compete in sports in three seasons and am in the weight room year round, 5-6 days a week, and I am not afraid to pick up new sports and try new things such as play my first year of football in my junior year of high school. I was elected Captain for next season and I want to make it my mission to be a good respectable leader and leave a lasting impression on my school years after I'm gone and to share the experience and knowledge I have accumulated throughout my high school career with younger athletes so then they can pass on what they know. Also I spend a week of my summer in Appalachia doing the Appalachia Service Project (A.S.P) and help make renovations to people who are below the poverty line or are unable to renovate their homes themselves. During the school year I participate in Key Club which is an organization that raises money for Charities such as A.S.P.C.A, Water for life, and Autism Speaks. Also over my summer I have been doing accounting internships for the last two years.
