Personal Statement
Thank you for checking out my profile! My name is Jack Weeks and I'm mainly a high jumper/hurdler athlete. I bring a sense of versatility to the track in that I'm very consistent in high jump, improving greatly in hurdles and run a 50.55 400m. For this reason I'm looking into competing in college as a decathlete.
My forte lies with the high jump, where I am currently at 6'6" but I am certain that mark will improve greatly as my training continues. I also am strong in hurdles, which I have picked up in just a year.
My goals include jumping 6'8" in HJ, 38.5 for the 300m hurdles, 14.7 in the 110m hurdles and 49.5 in the 400m.
My dream is to compete at a competitive athletic school (as I am a very competitive athlete) but one which can provide me with a strong academic background as I am also a very dedicated scholar. My desired field of study is Mechanical Engineering.
